The average gas price in the Marple Newtown Patch area is at $3.66 as of 12 p.m. Tuesday.
As gas prices rapidly climb in the area and beyond, commuters are being more conscious about where they fill their tanks. We'll try to give you a weekly report on the cheapest gas prices in the Marple Newtown Patch area on Tuesdays. This week, the best deal for gas can be found at Broomall Gas if you're paying by cash for $3.56 (regular) per gallon–which went up 3 cents since last week. This week Oceanic in Newtown Square dropped two cents and tied with both the Gulf stations on Sproul Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall as the second lowest, where gas is $3.64 (regular) per gallon.
