Patch wants to get to know the owners of Cafe D'Angelo, a new BYOB restaurant at 26 East Eagle Road in Havertown

Co-owner Nicole D'Angelo said it has been a dream for her to open her own restaurant. She has worked in the food industry all her life. Her partner is this venture is her bother Domenic who "wasn't in the business, but is now," she said, laughing. Domenic has his own tile-setting business.

Year Established: July, 2013

Hometown: The siblings grew up in Springfield.

Current Residence: Nicole lives in Broomall, Domenic in Springfield.

Earlier Stints: Nicole has worked in a number of restaurants, including Pat and Joe's, which used to be in Devon. Domenic owns Domenic D'Angelo Wall and Floor Covering.

Personal Experiences With Food: Both Nicole and Domenic love to cook.

Why did you get into the business? Nicole has worked in the industry for years and dreamed of owning her own place. Domenic joined his sister as co-owner.

Plug: Cafe D'Angelo is planning to have a pig roast every month. They will start serving lunch in the fall.
