BROOMALL–The GameStop in the Lawrence Park Shopping Centere in Broomall recently shuttered its doors to the public. But the vacant site won't be empty for too long.
Menchie's Frozen Yogurt has announced–with a posted sign on the store's window–that they will be taking over the location. According to Menchie's website, there are currently five Menchie's Frozen Yogurt shops in Pennsylvania with three more coming soon, including the Broomall location. Menchie's also has locations across the nation and in other countries.

Currently, there is one other frozen yogurt shop in Broomall, SwirlFrutti, and another, YoGo Factory, a few towns over in Edgmont. In addition, Kiwi Frozen Yogurt is planned to open in the Netown Square Shopping Center next to the proposed Panera Bread.
Menchie's goal, according to their website: "Guests will be able to go to Menchie's anywhere in the world and enjoy exactly the same experience every time: quality service, a quality product, a happy environment, a warm and friendly design, and cleanliness. Menchie's is designed to serve all ethnic and economic classes."
