Photos: Casale Holds Launch Party

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Casale, formerly known as The Newtown Grill, held a launch party on Tuesday night to reopen with its new name and new concept. 

The Italian word "casale" means "farmhouse" in English, and Casale has changed its concept and menu to go back to its roots of the historic farmhouse that the restaurant once was. 

The launch party featured signature drinks, wine, fresh cheeses and charcuterie as well as community supporters, township officials, and special guests. Rev. Monsignor Ralph Chieffo of St. Mary Magdalene of Media helped kick off the night with a prayer of blessing for the restaurant and opera singer Jennifer Hsiung of the The International Opera Theatre helped set the mood for the rest of the evening.
