Silvios in Hatboro is the best hoagie. Majors in Eastfalls is good as well. Also Lincoln Deli on the corner of Lincoln Drive and Mt. Pleasent.

This is true, but McDonald's makes a faster hamburger and has more throughput than say Five Guys, but I don't know a single person to date who has said McDonalds has the best hamburger compared to Five Guys. While I don't disagree with your assertion that more people go to Wawa, hence more votes, I do believe those people have missed the point of the contest. It's not about speed and convenience, it is about quality and taste.

Lee's Hoagie House makes a phenomenal hoagie, and they are all over the area (less so out near Pville.) I was also surprised that Primo's didn't make the list, as they have a decent presence geographically, have quick turnaround, and make a far superior sandwich to Wawa. I'll have to try Bridgeside Deli and see what they are about after these results. Cheesesteaks are a whole different issue, and I thing some of the best of those are Steve's Prince of Steaks (Philly), Mama's (Bala Cynwyd), Hog Island (Pville), Pat's (S. Philly), and for an awesome Roast Pork with Sharp Prov Tony Luc's on Oregon Ave. in S. Philly is the top of the pile. I think that cheesesteaks should have their own contest. I spent a lot of time working at various steak shops when I was younger, and learned a lot about the business. The bread is the most important ingredient, followed by the quality of the meats/cheeses, then the vegetables. I agree with everyone that the bread basically makes the sandwich.
