Do you remember that candy shop in Lawrence Park Shopping Center next to the ? No?
Well, there was a shop there, briefly, called Ricky's Candy, Cones and Chaos that specialized in, you guessed it–candy. It was a kid's dream of sweet treats: candy by the pound and novelty candy, baked goods and even an ice cream sundae bar. But alas, the shop had eventually shut its doors to the public.
The specialty candy store was open to the Marple Newtown community from Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. What remains is now an empty storefront situated in between in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center and .
