7 Puppies Ditched, Found on Side of Road

The seven Shepherd/Lab puppies were found in a crate, sickly and underweight, by four good Samaritans on the side of Route 291 in Chester, according to the SPCA.

They were brought to the SPCA on the morning of Dec. 13.

The seven pups have been named, Dancer, Comet, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph, Buddy the Elf, and Kris.

"Our goal is to get them healthy and find them homes in time for Christmas," said Justina Calgiano, director of community relations at the Delco SPCA.
