Looking to save money? Try one of these three trips you can enjoy on just one tank of gas: the Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnit Hill, the World Series of Bikes in Breinigsville and historic Fallsington in Levittown.

Woodmere Art Museum

About: Focusing on artists from the Philadelphia area, Woodmere Art Museum showcases more than 3,000 works of art, along with frequent special exhibitions. The museum first opened in 1940, in a 19th Century Victorian mansion that sits near the top of Chestnut Hill. The museum is open seven days a week and has a calendar full of musical evenings and family events, which often draw crowds on Friday nights.

Hours: Gates for World Series of Bicycling open at 5:30; racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

Summary: The Valley Preferred Cycling Center, also known as the Velodrome, will host the 2012 World Series of Bicycling - 12 weeks of intense track racing that includes a mix of sprint and endurance events - starting June 15. About 2,500 fans gather on Friday nights throughout summer to see racers such as Olympic hopefuls and hometown favorites. Races are also held on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Historic Fallsington

Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Summary: Historic Fallsington is a historic village in Levittown that recaptures the lifestyle and sense of community that filled the Philadelphia suburbs over 200 years ago. The Burges-Lippincott House, Gillingham General Store and the Gambrel Roof House are a few of the sites available to explore at the village. On Saturday, May 19, Historic Fallsington's museum buildings will hold its Spring Open House with demonstrations of Colonial skills and children's games. Gift items are available for purchase at the on-site museum gift store and guided group tours are available.
