Flood Watch Issued Through Monday

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Delaware County and surrounding areas from 6 p.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Monday. 

Showers and thunderstorms are expected with periods of heavy rain likely, the service said adding that rainfall amounts of two to three inches are expected in much of the region. 

Flooding along streams, creeks and areas of poor drainage are expected.
