Free Walk-In Flu Clinic for Delco Residents

Delaware County Council partners with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to offer afree walk-in flu shot clinic Friday, Oct. 28.

MEDIA–The Delaware County Council and Pennsylvania Department of Health are offering two free walk-in flu shot clinics this week.

The clinics are free, but people are asked to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for donation to support Delaware County’s food drive.

  • Friday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the county council meeting room of the , 201 W. Front St., Media. Parking will be available in the county juror parking lot at Front and Orange streets. This event is open to all residents 18 and older.

People will be asked to complete a brief screening to determine if they are allergic to eggs, or have ever had a reaction to a flu shot.

The Delaware County Flu Task Force is also partnering on the walk-in clinics.

A listing of Flu Shot Clinics, at drugstores, hospitals, libraries and community centers, is posted and continually updated on the Delaware County website at www.co.delaware.pa.us.
