Halloween Weekend Calls For Rain, Snow

The National Weather Service is warning of subfreezing temperatures Friday morning before a daytime high in the 50s with snow in the mix on Saturday.

Ready or not, snow is returning to the Philadelphia area this weekend, according to a National Weather Service forecast (NWS).

The forecast calls for an 90 percent chance of rain and then snow on Saturday before 2 p.m. On Saturday evening, the NWS predicts a low of 32. A 60 percent chance of precipitation of rain and then snow is forecasted again before 11 p.m. Saturday.

Forget the shovels for now; no more than a quarter-inch is expected.
