Last Chance: Low-Cost Vaccination and Microchip Clinic in Newtown Square

The Delaware County SPCA will host a low-cost, public vaccination and microchip clinic at the Niemeyer Corporation in Newtown Square on Aug. 14 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Today may be the day to bring your pet in for a low-cost, public vaccination and microchip clinic. Good news is that the clinic, hosted by the Delaware County SPCA, will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at thein Newtown Square. 

The Niemeyer Corporation is located on 19 S. Newtown Street Road in Newtown Square. The sponsored clinic is part of the Delco SPCA's second Tuesday of the month special, offering offsite and low-cost clinics around the county.

No appointment is necessary but the SPCA encourages pet owners to be in line by 6 p.m. latest. Dogs must be leashed and cats should be in carriers. The Delco SPCA reminds owners to bring pets' medical records, if available.

View the cost schedule below: 

  • $10 per vaccination (Dewormer, Distemper, Bordetella [dogs only], Rabies)
  • $20 per Canine flu, Feline Leukemia, Lyme vaccine
  • $35 per microchip + lifetime registration

According to the Delco SPCA, flea and tick preventatives will also be available for purchase as well as heartworm preventative if the pet has already received a heartworm test. Heartworm testing is not available at offsite clinics but can be scheduled at one of their onsite Wellness clinics. Call 610-566-1370 ext.3 to schedule a heartworm testing.

Cash and major credit cards are accepted but checks will not be accepted at offsite clinics.
