'Octomom' Vs. Damon Feldman: Court Date Scheduled This Week

A court date has been scheduled for the civil action hearing between 'Octomom' Nadya Suleman and local celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman.

BROOMALL–A court hearing has been scheduled this week for the civil lawsuit between "Octomom" Nadya Suleman and Broomall resident Damon Feldman, founder of the Fox TV show Celebrity Boxing, over a $7,500 engagement ring.

According to a press release, Feldman will seek to get his ring back from Suleman who he has promoted over 10 times in the Celebrity Boxing circuit nationally. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 9:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Robert D'Agostino in District Court #32-1-24.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 11:35 a.m., Feldman came in to the Marple Police Station to file a police report about a missing diamond engagement ring that belonged to Feldman's ex-wife and which was taken by Suleman and never returned.

"The ring was used for PR use and I was told that I would receive $5,000 for the involvement," claimed Feldman in the press release. According to the press release, Feldman also claims Suleman's manager promised to return the ring after the event.

Feldman told police that in February 2012, he had a public entertainment event scheduled with Suleman at The Warehouse located on MacDade Boulevard in Woodlyn.

According to the police report, Feldman told police that at that event, strictly for publicity purposes, Feldman had proposed to Suleman with a diamond engagement ring.

The proposal and ring presentation was done with the understanding between both parties that it was only done for publicity purposes, said Feldman in the police report.

Since that time, the business relationship between the two have ended but Suleman has yet to return the ring. According to the police report, Feldman made numerous attempts to contact Suleman and her manager to no avail.

"I trusted them as we did several events together, and this was a verbal business agreement and they said the ring needed to be seen on Nadya for this to work but as months went by, there was no ring and no money, and then I banned her from Celebrity Boxing," said Feldman in the press release.

Feldman stated in the press release, "I went on to sue Nadya and her manager Gina Rodriguez. They are criminals and it will come out in court. My ex-wife wants the ring back and it's a real problem now."
