Most Roads Clear by Morning Commute; Schools Call Two-Hour Delays

A total accumulation of less than half an inch is possible for Tuesday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) estimates about 5 inches of snow fell on the area from the overnight wintry mix of snow and slush that happened late Monday into early Tuesday morning.

The NWS said untreated roadways and walkways will likely be slick and slippery. Please give yourself extra travel time getting to your destination.

Most major roads were fairly clear for Tuesday's morning commute. However, side roads, sidewalks and parking lots experienced a little bit more of the slush and slippery conditions.
