Student Killed in Crash Had 'Infectious Personality'

Two people who knew Paul Pratt from Episcopal Academy issue comments.

Paul Pratt, 18, a Radnor resident and student at Episcopal Academy, was killed Thursday night in a one-car accident on Eagle Road in St. Davids.

Amanda Vos Strache, Episcopal Upper School history teacher and Pratt's advisor, said "Paul was an incredibly intelligent, driven young man with the brightest of futures ahead of him. His spirit and love for life shines in all that he did. Those who knew him knew his wit and genuine passion for life. Paul was a positive force for all who were lucky enough to know him."

Jackson Collins, Form Dean of the Class of 2014, said "Paul was the type of student that any educator would be proud to be around. He challenged you to be a better teacher, a better coach and he's someone who really developed as a young man at The Episcopal Academy."

Collins continued, "He was comfortable in his own skin. He knew what he wanted and would do Whatever was necessary in order to achieve it. Paul earned all of his successes. Every week, you would see improvement. Paul had an infectious personality. He was the type of kid that fellow students and faculty gravitated toward."
