Tips Lead to Curious George's Former Owner, $1,000 Reward For Information Leading to Prosecution

Officials have identified the former owners of Curious George, an emaciated dog that recently arrived at the Delaware County SPCA, but no arrests have been made.

MEDIA–Officials have identified the former owners of , after a $1,000 reward was offered for information that would lead to former owners, the Delaware County Daily Times reports. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Curious George, a pitbull bulldog mix, arrived at the weighing 35 pounds. He should weigh about 70 pounds. He was taken to the SPCA by a concerned citizen on Halloween after he was found in the Boothwyn area.

The emaciated dog gained four pounds in his first 72 hours at the non-profit facility, Director of Community Relations at the Delco SPCA Justina Calgiano said, and his health seemed to be improving.
