Trash Collection for Memorial Day
Some Marple Newtown Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the Memorial Day holiday.
Both Marple Township's municipal building and Newtown Township's municipal building will be closed for Memorial Day, May 27.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the Memorial Day holiday:
Marple Township—There is no trash collection on Monday. Residents with a Monday collection will have their trash picked up on the next regular collection day which is Thursday. Recycling collection on Wednesday is not affected.

Newtown Township–Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private collector. Recycling will not be affected as collection is on Thursdays.
