Trash Collection for New Year's Day
Some Marple Newtown Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the New Year's Day holiday.
Both Marple Township's municipal building and Newtown Township's municipal building will be closed for New Year's Day, Jan. 1.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the New Year's holiday:
Marple Township—Residents on a Tuesday and Friday trash collection schedule will only have trash collected on Friday this week. Residents on a Monday and Thursday schedule will not be affected by the New Year's holiday. Recycling will not be affected as collection is on Wednesdays.

Newtown Township–Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private collector. Recycling will not be affected as collection is on Thursdays.
