UPDATE: PennDOT Roads Still Closed by Downed Trees, Wires

The following is a list of states roads in Delaware County that still have downed trees or wires on them.

The following state roads are still closed as of 5 p.m. Wednesday in Delaware County due to downed trees or power lines from Hurricane Irene. This information is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Please drive with caution in these areas. 

Wednesday

  • Valley Rd. between Darlington Rd. and Forge Rd. in Middletown Township. Downed tree with wires. 
  • Lansdowne Ave./Darby Rd./Main St. between Marple Rd. and College Ave. in Haverford Township. Downed Utility. 
  • Darby Paoli Rd. between Colony Rd./Briarwood Rd. and Lawrence Ln. in Radnor Township. Downed Tree with wires. 
  • Llewelyn Rd./Aston Mills Rd./Birney Hw. between Concord Rd./Convent Rd. and Lenni Rd. in Aston Township. Downed tree with wires.
  • Ridley Creek Rd. between Baltimore Pike and Rose Tree Rd. in Upper Providence Township. Down tree with wires.
  • College Ave. between Turnbridge Rd. and Haverford Rd. in Haverford Township. Downed tree with wires.
