What's Closed On Columbus Day In Marple Newtown

In salute to the workers of America, several local offices, banks and libraries will be closed for Columbus Day on Monday.
Check out the list below to see what's closed on this Columbus Day.
- Government offices–'s township municipal building will remain open on Monday while and county offices and courts will be closed. Newtown's Board of Supervisors meeting has been moved to Tuesday night.
- Banks–Many banks in the area will be closed for the day.
- Schools–All public and private schools in the area will be closed. Both the Catholic schools– and –and the will remain open.
- Post offices–All post offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
- Transportation–SEPTA will operate on a normal schedule.
