Author with Local Connections at Newtown Library

Come to the Newtown Library on November 20 at 7pm to meet Robert Blake Whitehill,
an author with local connections.  Mr. Whitehill
was born into a Quaker family in Mardela Springs, just outside Salisbury on Maryland’s Eastern
Shore peninsula where he grew up sailing the Chesapeake

Bay.  After
graduating from Westtown School,
Whitehill stayed in Pennsylvania to
earn his B.A. in creative writing at Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges.  More information can be found on the author’s

web page at www.robertblakewhitehill.com.

Mr. Whitehill will speak about his first two books in his award winning Ben Blackshaw Series, which includes Deadrise & Nitro Express.  He will be on hand after the event to sign books.  The public is invited to this free event, which is sponsored by The Friends of Newtown Library.
