Covenant Choirs Present Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest

The Chancel and Bell choirs of Covenant United Methodist
Church will present a Festival of Lessons and Carols  The “centerpiece” of the service will be
Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest by American composer and
Pennsylvania native Conrad Susa (1935-2013). This delightful collection gathers
ten carols, some brought by settlers from districts in Spain, some original to
the New World, and weaves them into a musical narrative of the Christmas story,
south-of-the-border style.

Guest instrumentalists will be Michael Simmons (classical
guitar), Janet Witman (harp) and Zachary Crystal (marimba and vibraphone).

The church is wheel-chair accessible. Adaptive hearing
devices are available. Parking is in the adjacent   lot
(entrance on Saxer Ave.) and on Saxer Ave. For more information, call the
church office at 610-544-1400 or visit www.covumc.com.
