Let's Do Robotics

Participants (ages 6-8) will have fun and success as they build robots and program them for action. Working in two or three person teams, the children will build such things as a dancing bird, a hungry alligator, and a soccer player that kicks a ball into a goal. They will experiment with tilt and motion sensors as they enhance their skills in problem
solving, creativity, and teamwork. Finally, each team will use what they learned to create their own robot. The program will take place at the Gauntlett Community Center and will be presented by Computer Explorers.
