Race for Open Space 5K Trail Run (& 2 Mile Walk)

Come enjoy the scenic woods & fields adjacent to the Ardrossan tract in Villanova during this unique off-road run on Sunday, June 1, 2014. This 4th annual event, sponsored by Radnor Conservancy, raises awareness of trails & open space as participants enjoy the challenging course. Bring the entire family! There is a shorter course for walkers & activities for children too.

The race starts at Radnor Township's Willows Park (just over the border of Newtown Township)... leads through scenic woods and over Darby Creek, heads past the community garden in Skunk Hollow Park and ends with a dash across the lawn towards the Willows Cottage. In addition to the challenging 5K trail run, there will be a shorter walk option, plus games and activities for children. 

Information & maps about trails in the Main Line and western suburbs of Philadelphia will be available. If you enjoy running, hiking, cycling, jogging, or walking, come learn more about National Trails Day and find new places to enjoy these activities this summer!
