The Friends of the Marple Public Library Will Host A Reception For Ms. Barbara Eni Ristaino Our Guest Artist For The Month Of September. All Are Invited.

The Public is cordially invited to attend a reception to view the art work of  Ms.  Barbara Eni Ristaino, Sunday, September 15, 2013  from 2:30-4:30 PM at the Marple Public Library.

Barbara Eni Ristaino, a 40 year resident of Marple Township, graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a degree in Chemistry.  After teaching Math at a private school, she decided to venture out on her own into the Creative Arts. She has been self-employed for 25 years as a floral designer, artist, and calligrapher.  Besides her floral design she has studied under nationally known Lettering Artists, including Michael Sull, Heather Held and Pat Blair. She is a graduate of Reggie Ezell’s 2006 year-long calligraphy course. A long-time member of the Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Society (PCS), she is currently on the Board, and also affiliated with various local groups, including Painting Friends, and the Pointed Pen Society of Philadelphia (PPSP).

Barbara has exhibited with the PCS at the Wayne Art Center, the Free Library of Philadelphia, the Gallery at Deptford, Ludington Library, and Medford Leas.

Ms. Barbara Eni Ristaino is our guest artist for the month of September at our library. Her many fascinating and delightful paintings are positioned around the walls of our library for your review and appreciation. It was Pablo Picasso who once said ,"We are all born artists, and then we grow up". Here is an opportunity for you to revisit your creativity, see the many paintings  in a relaxed setting over light refreshments and much chocolate and also meet the artist and ask her directly about the inspirations that created such lovely paintings.

The Marple Public Library is located at 2599 Sproul Road,  Broomall, PA 19008-2829.  Light refreshments will be served.  Barbara’s art will be on display during the month of September.
