The Zinghoppers

THE ZINGHOPPERS
are a preschool pop band, influenced by hip-hop and electro dance
music. They tour internationally and have an EMMY Award winning
television series of short form music videos that is seen by over 2
million people daily in over 175 countries. In the United States,
they are being broadcast on over 100 PBS member stations. “The
Zinghoppers Show” is geared towards children ages 2 to 8, and
focuses on the child’s social and emotional development. The band
has one simple mission: to rock the whole globe.

“Totally,
Zinghoppers!” is an EMMY Award winning series of musical
intersitials for preschoolers that introduces young children to the
elements that make up their world. Created by the husband and wife
teaching team of Kitty and Jack Norton (and developed with a team of
early childhood education experts), the show has been described as
“Mr. Rogers meets Soul Train” or “Barney meets the Black Eyed
Peas”. The multi-cultural cast uses high-energy music to educate,
empower and entertain children.

The series is
offered in two different lengths to accommodate the varied needs of
broadcasters: Fillers and 60 second interstitials.

The lovable
characters in the Zinghoppers band include: a friendly train
conductor, a funky DJ, a singing possum, a break-dancing donkey and a
hopping kangaroo. The show promotes kindness, positivity and nurtures
the “emotional IQ” of children through humor and music. The band
encourages physical fitness by singing catchy songs with a danceable
beat to get children up off the couch to move and groove with the
Zinghoppers!
