The presents have been unwrapped and decorations are coming down and it's time to get rid of that giant tree dropping pine needles all over your living room floor.

Below is a schedule for when your municipality will be picking up Christmas trees for disposal.

Marple Township
Trees should be placed curbside—without tinsel or ornaments—and will be collected ongoing. There is no need to call for a pick up and there is no set collection schedule, as collections will be ongoing. Trees will be picked up by a separate truck, NOT your regular trash collection truck.

Newtown Township
Trees will be picked up and recycled beginning Monday, Jan. 6 and continue through Friday, Jan. 17. Place trees curbside—sans tinsel or ornaments.
The trees will be composted and the mulch created will be used at township parks and trails.
