My name is Jim DiMeo, I grew up in Marple Newtown and I am raising my own family here and it is here that I too have a small business.  Mine is a service business that offers, but not limited to: web and graphic design, mobile site development, technical support, web marketing campaigns, photography, etc.  Mobile applications are soon to be on the list of services, but we will get to that in a moment. 

Over the years, I have seen many establishments come and go, from Toy World to Roy Rogers.  Back in the day, it was important to have a store front on the most densely traveled roads in order to help drive traffic to your business.  In today’s fast passed world, a well-positioned store front does not have to make or break your bottom line. 

Enter our new friend Google.  In case you haven’t heard, it is now an official word in Webster’s dictionary! Google: to use the Google search engine to obtain information about (as a person) on the World Wide Web.  What this means to you is having a website puts you on Google and people will find you without ever stepping out of their house. 

As a web designer, and a small business owner, I know how important it is to have a website and increasingly so, a mobile site.  It seems everyone has a smart phone now and can find anything they want in the palm of their hands.  For these reasons, I would like to offer my services to you and in return I am asking for a donation.  In order to produce better mobile sites and create mobile applications, I need a MAC computer, apparently Apple (the same manufacturer of MAC) has something against playing nice with PC (the machine Microsoft has its software).   For a monetary donation, I will provide the services associated.  For example, $10 will get you website landing page and for $25 I will create a unique logo and a landing page for you.  These services retail at $100 and $250 in the marketplace, that’s a 90% discount!!
