Joseph Blaisse, Pennsylvania Scout of the Year by the PA Department of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
Joseph Blaisse of Newtown Square has been selected as the Pennsylvania Scout of the Year by the Pennsylvania Department of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Joseph had already been selected by the American Legion to be their Pennsylvania "Eagle Scout of The Year" and it is not often that the same scout earns both top awards for Pennsylvania.
Joseph will be representing Pennsylvania for the VFW National Award. The VFW select 3 winners (among all all types of Scouts), for National Scout of the Year as 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place.
American Legion has named Joseph as the National Eagle Scout of the Year. It comes with a $10,000 scholarship and they also fly him to NC to address the national convention in August.
