Community Update

Poor work, poor customer service, and poor communication. Took snowblower in for a tire repair and a stalling/starting problem. After getting it back ($200 bill with no call prior to the work to discuss what they found and a quote) the machine LEAKED OIL all over the place, yet it had never leaked oil before in its life. Took it back (visit #2) and they said they’d look at it. Without calling me to discuss what they found and giving me a quote, they called and told me its’ ready (work already done) and the cost is $100 additional for a “breather gasket”. They said their earlier work did not cause the oil leak, which I highly doubt. To get the machine back I paid and took it home and tested it. It still LEAKED OIL all over just like before, only this time the leaking oil apparently made the drive system and auger/impeller slippery as those two things didn’t work right either. Took it back again (visit #3) and got no apologies, but did get an assurance that it would be fixed right this time. Got it back and its’ earlier problems seemed to be fixed okay, but the reverse gear1 went forward. I called them, got voicemail and left a message about the reverse moving forward. After several days I got no return call. I made an adjustment per the manual and fixed the gear problem myself. I won’t be using this place again…
