WWII Navy Vet Dies at 96, and Other Obituaries

Joseph M. DeSantis, of Newtown Square and formerly of Broomall and Philadelphia, died ay 96. He was a self-taught electrician and served in the Navy during WWII repairing ships. 

Bruce H. Hooper, of Newtown Square and formerly of Radnor, died at 82. 

Jane C. McDonald, of Broomall, died at 84. 


Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Biedling, of St. Augustine and born in Media, died at 76.

John J. Drucker M.D., of Media and formerly of Forest Hills, NY, died at 94. 

Ruth L. Hine, of Media, died at Lima Estates at 94. She was a longtime resident of Springfield and relocated to Lima Estates in 1999. Hine was recently recognized for her 50 year membership at the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield.
