Rapidly becoming more known in the Chester County area for their take home Belgian caramelized waffles, Waffatopia™ shows their community support with a donation to the West Chester Food Cupboard, tipping the scales at 45 lbs. of their tasty waffles. This partnership represents the 4th donation to the Chester County Food Bank’s local chapter, made for every 100 likes Waffatopia receives on Facebook. After having reached 500 likes this week, the company hopes to accelerate the level of giving back to the community.
“No matter how small our business, we feel it’s vital to support our local community in any way we can”, says Andrea Polizzi, co-owner and operations leader at Waffatopia. “Thanks to the help of our followers on social media, as well as all the tremendous work of the food bank, our waffles can be distributed as a versatile meal option for breakfast, snack, or a special dessert for families.”
