Where/When: from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Why Go: See Stubby, climb inside, and enjoy the helicopter-cockpit experience. The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is offering tours of its popular interactive, traveling helicopter. Helicopter-themed storytime and other related fun await you at the library.
Pricing: Free.


THE PILGRIMS & POCAHONTAS: COOKING DEMO & TASTING CLASS

Where/When: in Broomall from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Why Go: Tired of the same old menu for Thanksgiving? Join student favorite Chef David Grear as he brings "The Bird" and not-so-ordinary trimmings to this demonstration and tasting class. Spice up your own holiday this year. 
Pricing: $45.


KIDS WORKSHOP

Where/When: from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Why Go: Spend some quality time with your kids as they learn do-it-yourself skills and tool safety along with experiencing a sense of pride and accomplishment. November's project is making Veteran's Day picture frames. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a free kids workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. These hands-on workshops are designed for kids ages 5 to 12.
Pricing: Free.


HALLOWEEN SOCIAL DANCE PARTY

Where/When: Felinton Hall at Broomall's from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday. (Rescheduled from last week.)
Why Go: Join the Delaware Valley Dance Society for an evening of social dance fun, beginning with Tango dance instruction at 7 p.m. Beginning at 8 p.m., enjoy open dancing to a variety of popular dance hits on a spacious dance floor. Meet new people through dance mixers and learn some old and new line dances. Costumes are optional. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
Pricing: $12 per person.


SNOW WHITE AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE

Where/When: at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: See the delight on your children's faces when they realize that Snow White needs their help to escape the clutches of the Evil Queen. Hedgerow Theatre's Children's Classics feature rolicking music and audience participation. Plus, greet your favorite characters and enjoy juice and cookies in the lobby at the end of the show.
Pricing: $9 for children, $11 for adults.


SCHOOL'S OUT DAY CAMP: A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Where/When:  from 9 a.m. to noon, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Why Go: Join Wayne Art Center on election day where enrolled students will go to the polls to 'elect' their favorite colors, animals & artists to serve as inspiration for a series of art projects. Art techniques could include: drawing/painting, printmaking, sculpture, clay and more.
Pricing: Full Day: $75 / Half-Day: $40.
