IT IS TIME TO STOP HOPING FOR A PHILLIES' COMEBACK!!!

The handwriting was on the wall wide and clear a long time ago, specifically in 2009 when they decided foolishly to sign the Doc!!!  The Phillies are not longer a threat to anyone, they have become a bunch of losers, full of excuses for their dismal showings in the standings and particularly on the baseball field where they look more like little leaguers that major leaguers making millions, by playing sub-standard baseball.

But don't give me wrong, Phillies' players are the culprits in this dismal 2013 season that has turned out to be a disaster of a major proportion.  The fault for this historic debacle is right at the door of Ruben Amaro, the genius who gave up on the winner, pitcher Cliff Lee in 2009.

Again, I do not want to hear those lame stories about today's Cliff Lee, he has also at times failed since he was returned to Phillies for a second time.  But the Cliff Lee of 2009 was a clear winner and a contender and it was a mistake to get rid of him then and remains a MONUUMENTAL MISTAKE today because we all remember that since then, the PHILLIES have not been the same.

The Phillies were winners and since that FATEFUL TRADE have relegated themselves to being losers.  Mr. Amaro and the Phillies can offer all the excuses in the world for being losers today including, disabled players etc., but the fact remains that changing the 2009-2010 team was the downfall of the Phillies.

I said it them and I will repeat it a thousand times. My father always used to say, "you do not bite the hand that feeds you."  Giving up on a winner, in the heat of a winning season reinforces what my father used to say so many years ago.

Winning and being successful in a sport, job or in any of life's endeavors takes more than talent and expertise, it take, LOYALTY.  Loyalty is devoid in the Phillies' organization in fact, they don't even know the meaning of it.  And that is why, the 2013 Phillies' season will be so memorable;  They were WINNERS  and just like that, they became LOSERS.

Good job Amaro!!!! Keep it up!!!!!  Continue, resign Chase Utley who has missed more games in the past three years than he has played.
