Where To Go For Arcade Fun

This week I asked local moms and dads where they go for some arcade fun with their kids.

Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council consisting of local Marple and Newtown parents, take your questions, give advice and share solutions.

This week's question:

, but this year I'm looking for something very particular: arcade games.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where we can go for a six year olds birthday party that has an arcade?

Answer from Chris (dad of 1): We've done the multiple times for both birthday parties and sports league parties. Only warning: make sure you have some activities that are non-arcade related planned or you'll drop a ton at the change machine. Works even better for a sports league party. The cake and trophies cost us more than the food and drink at the restaurant.

Answer from Ashley G. (mom of 2):.

Answer from Lydia B. (mom of 3): Dave and Busters in Plymouth Meeting.

Answer from Amy F. (mom of 2): Betty's Fun Factory in Aston, Oasis Family Fun Center in Glen Mills, Grand Slam in Malvern, Regal Movie Theater in Newtown Square has a room plus tour and movies.

Answer from Bretany Pilko (mom of 2): Yesterday we were at a party at Arnold's Go Karts in Oaks when a mom told me about an arcade truck that comes to your home. I came home and did some research–it is called Game Truck and it looks awesome. I think 6 might be too young, but if you have a teenager who loves video games–this would earn you parent of the year award for getting this truck for his or her party!
