Where Were You On Sept. 11, 2001?

Reflecting on 9/11 10 years later.

It's a day that will not be forgotten and many will never forget where they were when they heard about the terrorist attacks on our country on Sept. 11, 2001.

We asked our local first responders and veterans in and communities where they were on that fateful day and its impact on them 10 years later. Marple Newtown Patch will run a video of their reflections each day this week, so be sure to look out for those.

But we also want to hear from you too. Share your memories, thoughts, prayers and reflections in the comments section below. Tell us, where you were on Sept. 11, 2001, and how it has affected you 10 years later.

Wow i remember it like it was yesterday, walking into work at 9am and the tv on as usual but everybody was paying more attention than usual, and there i stood watching what was happening about a plane hitting one of the towers and then BAM another plane hits the second tower, and my boss walked out and says we are under attack and then it was just the craziest day ever, stayed at work we checked on our children at school to make sure they were safe and then started hearing about the other planes........ I have no word to describe what i felt watching people jump from the towers to keep from burning to death, and i am still as angry today 10 yrs later.... How can i not be? It should never have happened.......

I was in college, a Resident Advisor at the time. One of my residents asked me if I heard the news. They immediately turned on the TV for me and I could not believe what was happening. I went to my first class in the morning, Psychology. It was a somber moment, everyone was real quiet and the professor decided to cancel class. All the student gathered in the major student areas and just watched/heard the news as reporters rattled off the terrible news that the twin towers were attacked! 9/11 will never be the same.

I was in bed due to late opening of my daughter's school for repair until my husband called me on the phone & told me to watch tv. I turned onthe tv then I went downstairs to watch the 2nd plane hit.

I am sure all of these people are well qualified but they certainly have been living off our dimeRead More for a very long time. I hope they will enjoy their sizeable pension when they retire at 55.

Is this the same Mackrides who gets his son out of trouble for jumping disabled adults at partiesRead More and trashing school district property? http://articles.philly.com/2001-02-20/news/25317992_1_assault-claim-underage-drinking-william-j-murphy So this guy wants to lie for his son (who went on to accept judgement equating to guilt) and then turn around and judge us. http://articles.philly.com/2001-04-24/news/25331355_1_assault-charge-underage-drinking-party-probation Machine politics is a joke.

And for the record Chip Mackrides seems to be the uncle of the human crime spree, not the father.
