Baby Formula Thief Wanted by Newtown Police

The thief in the photo had stolen $179 worth of baby formula from the Rite Aid in Newtown Square.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The issued out a press release on Tuesday evening asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the photo (attached in this article).

The man is wanted by police for stealing $179 worth of baby formula from the store in the Newtown Square Shopping Center. 

According to police, at approximately 9:21 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, the man pictured in the photo had walked into the Rite Aid and loaded a hand basket with eight containers of baby formula.

The man then proceeded to walk out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the baby formula, said Lt. Chris Lunn in the press release.

According to Lunn, the subject was described as wearing a white, zip-up jacket, possibly fleece, jeans, and a blue and white baseball-style hat.
