Blotter: Egged Home, Shattered Car Window

NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Dec. 1 at approximately 8 p.m., Newtown police responded to the 100 block of Hickory Lane for a reported criminal mischief incident. Upon arrival, police spoke with the homeowner who reported that a group of juveniles just egged the front of his home. According to the report, the homeowner was unable to provided detailed descriptions of the juveniles but that they were dressed in black clothing. The homeowner told police they fled towards Main Street. Police checked the area but were unable to locate them.

Car Window Shattered in Shopping Center

On Dec. 5 at approximately 7:05 a.m., police responded to the Saint Albans Shopping Center at 3545 West Chester Pike for a reported criminal mischief incident. Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant who showed police a shattered window from the rear driver's side window of her vehicle. 

The vehicle owner told police it did not appear that anything was missing from the car and that anyone had tried entering the vehicle, according to the report. No object was seen around the vehicle, said police in the report. The vehicle owner told police she had parked her vehicle last night at 8 p.m. and discovered the broken window the next morning at approximately 6:45 a.m. when she was leaving for work, according to the report.
