Blotter: 'Octomom' Won't Give Back Broomall Man's $7,500 Ring

"Octomom" Nadya Suleman is in a civil lawsuit fight with "Celebrity Boxing" TV show founder Damon Feldman, of Broomall.

BROOMALL–On Nov. 13 at approximately 11:35 a.m., Damon Feldman, founder of the Fox TV Show Celebrity Boxing and a Broomall resident, came in to the Marple Police Station to file a police report about a missing diamond engagement ring that was taken by “Octomon” Nadya Suleman.

Feldman told police that earlier this year in February he had a public entertainment event scheduled with Suleman at The Warehouse located on MacDade Boulevard in Woodlyn.

According to the police report, Feldman told police that at that event, strictly for publicity purposes, Feldman had proposed to Suleman with a diamond engagement ring.

The proposal and ring presentation was done with the understanding between both parties that it was only done for publicity purposes, said Feldman in the police report.

Since that time, the business relationship between the two have ended but Suleman has yet to return the ring. According to the police report, Feldman made numerous attempts to contact Suleman and her manager to no avail.

Police informed Feldman that this was a civil matter and not a criminal investigation done by the police department. Feldman told police he and his attorney intend to file a civil suit for the actual return of the ring or for estimated $7,500 cost of the ring, according to the report.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Suleman's manager Gina Rodriguez said Feldman's claim that Suleman had taken the engagement ring was "a lie." According to The Huffington Post, Rodriguez said the ring Feldman was referring to was "fake and did not fit her [Suleman's] finger."

Feldman informed police to refer to the website Allieiswired.com. The website provides a quote from Rodriguez stating that the proposal stint was "a joke" done by Feldman.
