Car Rolls from Driveway and Causes Crash, Police Say

A vehicle rolled out of a Newtown Township driveway Tuesday, resulting in a two-vehicle crash, police say.

A vehicle rolled out of a driveway Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a two-vehicle crash, according to Newtown Township Police.

Police were dispatched to St. Davids Road at about 11:26 a.m. Tuesday for a two-vehicle crash, according to Newtown Police Chief Christopher Lunn.

One of the vehicles had no driver, as it rolled out of a driveway onto St. Davids Road and into the path of the second vehicle, according to Lunn.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to the hospital for evaluation, according to Lunn.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene and the scene was cleared by about noon.
