Driver Not Found Following One-Car Crash

Newtown Police are investigating the Earles Lane crash that occurred on Thursday.

Newtown Police investigated a one-vehicle crash in the 300 block of Earles Lane at about 8:52 p.m. on May 30, according to Newtown Township Police Chief Christopher Lunn.

Police found a heavily damaged Toyota Rav 4 on its side after it had struck a tree in a resident's front yard, according to Lunn.

However, there was no one at the crash scene when police arrived, according to Lunn.

Police officers searched the area but the driver was not located, according to Lunn.

There were no reports of any injuries.
