DUI Task Force To Conduct Roving Patrols
The Northern Delaware County DUI Task Force will be conducting patrols Friday night.
According to a press release to the media, the will conduct roving patrols Friday night, Sept. 23.
The press release, sent out by the Haverford Township Police Department Wednesday morning, stated that the task force will be conducting the roving patrols "within it's jurisdictional area."
That area comprises of six municipalities that include the townships of:

- Haverford
- Radnor
- Springfield
- Upper Darby
Since the task force has started since September 2009, it has conducted 22 operations to date, the press release stated, noting that the task force has made various arrests and issuing citations.
"The task force has arrested 63 drivers for Driving Under the Influence
of alcohol or drugs, issued 23 citations for underage drinking, 338 citations and 275 warnings for other motor vehicle violations," the press release stated.
