Construction Blasting Expected in Newtown
The construction blasting will occur for the next 30 days.
Blasting at the construction site in the 200 block of S. Newtown Street Road/Route 252 will continue for the next 30 days, according to Newtown Township Chief of Police Christopher Lunn.
Terrazza Phase II has the proper permit, applied for by the contractor and issued by the township.
The hours of activity will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., with no exceptions, according to Lunn.
There are no problems or associated issues expected from the blasting, according to Lunn.
