NEWTOWN SQUARE–A van caught on fire at the Subaru Rafferty dealership in Newtown Square on Sunday.
Both Newtown Square and Broomall fire companies responded to the scene for the vehicle fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a cleaners van "heavily involved in fire under an overhang with possible extension to the building," according to fire photographer Mark Walsh, of IrishEyez Photography.
Walsh said the call was upgraded to a building fire but after several checks on the building, it was determined the fire did not extend into the building and crews extinguished the van fire.
Other responding fire companies included Edgmont, Rose Tree, and Media. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
