Frozen Meats, TV, Jewelry Taken in Burglary

A small crow bar was also found inside the home and did not belong to the residents, police say.

Burglary—Echo Valley Lane in Newtown Square between 8:10 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. on April 5. The resident returned home and noticed that a side wooden door to the garage was ajar and torn apart, according to the report, and was torn apart with what appeared to be a small crow bar.

As the woman exited her vehicle, she saw that the interior garage door which leads to the main living portion of the home was opened, according to the report, and as she walked inside it was immediately apparent to her that someone burglarized the home.

The woman noticed several items were stolen including, a large flat screen TV, silver dinette set taken from a dining room cabinet, jewelry from the master bedroom, frozen meats from a basement freezer, an air compresser from a workshop, electrical cords and many other items, according to the report.

She also found a small size crow bar laying on the master bed and confirmed it did not belong to the homeowners, according to the report.

The home has an alarm but it was not on at the time, according to the report.
