Marple Hero Scholarship Fund Will Hold 37th Annual Flea Market

The annual flea market will take place on Sept. 18 at Delaware County Community College.

The Hero Scholarship Fund is sponsoring its 37th Annual Flea Market, Sunday, Sept. 18th at off of Rt. 252/Newtown Street Road and Media Line Road in Marple Township.

The Marple Hero Scholarship Fund was established in 1968 to aid in the education of children, spouses, and partners of the any member of the , ., , and Woman's Auxiliary of the Broomall Fire Co., in the event of the death or permanent disability while in the line of duty. All proceeds of the flea market will benefit families of those emergency personnel killed or permanently injured in the line of duty. 

The flea market is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and spaces are still available for vendors at $40 in advance or $50 on the day of the event.
