Marple Newtown Grad Killed Over Headphones, Reports Say
The Philadelphia man was shot and killed in Overbrook on Saturday, police say.
A Philadelphia man and 2011 Marple Newtown High School graduate was shot and killed on Saturday, over a pair of headphones, according to published reports.
Christian Massey, 21, was shot in the chest after an unknown person demanded his headphones and iPod in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, according to the Delaware County News Network.
Massey played football, lacrosse and basketball at Marple Newtown High School.
Massey, who was 6-foot 2-inches tall, 300-pounds and mentally challenged, was dubbed the "gentle giant" at the school, according to philly.com.
No arrests have been made in the killing yet.
