What do you like about your job?

It was my friends that had me join and I was friends with some of the members. That’s pretty much what brought me here in the beginning–the community and the friends. I like helping the community.

What do you dislike about your job?

There's a lot of downtime.

What inspired you to become a firefighter?

My grandfather was a firefighter. When I heard him tell stories and he showed me pictures of some of the fires he helped fight, I thought that was kind of neat.

What do you like about the Marple Newtown area?

I’ve always lived around here. It’s my hometown and all my friends are here.

What do you want the general public to know about the Newtown Square Fire Co.?

We’re always looking for volunteers. Anyone interested can come knock on the doors.
