The excitement–every day is different. I also like working with the people here and helping people. 

What do you dislike about your job?

There's nothing I dislike about the job. I do this full time and I do it part time.

What inspired you to become a firefighter?

I'm the first in my family and first generation to become a firefighter. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do since I was young. Growing up, a guy we used to hangout with a lot was a volunteer firefighter. And he was always talking about it, which initially got me interested. A few years later I joined.

What do you like about the Marple Newtown area?

This area is just a nice area—it’s quiet. The people are nice. Oh, and L&G () has great food.

What do you want the general public to know about the Newtown Square Fire Co.?

We're very well equipped and have nice apparatuses. We also have good leadership.
