Newtown Police Log: 898 Calls in August

Read below for the Newtown Township Police Department's August police log and some of the incidents that occurred around town.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Newtown Township Police presented August's police log before the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors and the public at a supervisors meeting last month.

The number of overall emergency calls were down from July to August. , while in August there were 898 total calls. In addition, the number of township ordinance alarm calls, parking tickets and traffic citations were down, while the number of calls for business building checks significantly increased but medical emergencies stayed somewhat the same from 79 calls in July to 75 calls in August.
